1- Galaxy AI smart assistant:


As expected, the star of the (Galaxy Unpacked 2024) event yesterday was the smart assistant (Galaxy AI), which Samsung integrated into its new phones, which seamlessly blends the artificial intelligence found in the phones and the cloud-based artificial intelligence.

(Galaxy AI) included in every model of the (Galaxy S24) phone provides a set of features that rely on generative artificial intelligence, including: language detection and translation, image creation and editing, and code generation.

Samsung has cooperated with Google to operate most of the cloud-based artificial intelligence features through the new (Gemini) model developed by Google. For example, the (Gemini Nano) version offers text-based features, and the (Gemini Pro) version offers voice-based features. Samsung is the first partner of Google to introduce the Gemini model in Android phones.

Here are the most important advantages that Galaxy AI offers to Galaxy S24 users:
Instant call translation feature:
Called AI Live Translate Call, the real-time call translation feature uses artificial intelligence to show voice and text translations in real-time as you speak on calls, making the communication process more natural between both parties, regardless of the language difference.

Samsung has confirmed that this feature works locally in phones, as all phone call data is processed via the artificial intelligence system built into the phones without the need to connect to the company’s servers, which maintains data privacy.

Note Assist feature for organizing notes:
Note Assist allows users to edit, paraphrase and summarize text in the Samsung Notes app, and gives you pre-made templates to inspire you as you write.

Circle to Search feature for smarter searching:

Previously, holding down the home button on Android devices led to launching the Google Voice Assistant, but on Galaxy S24 phones, the same action calls up an interface, where you can draw a circle on the desired item or press it to perform a search via the Google engine using the pictures. Since the results appear above the open screen or screen of the app you’re currently using, exiting the interface simply takes you back to where you started.

Samsung has indicated that this feature requires an Internet connection, in addition to the need to log in to a Samsung account.

The S24 and S24 Plus phones are the basic models in the series, and they come with a design similar to last year’s versions. The two phones come in a glass design with an aluminum frame, and they support water and dust resistance according to the IP68 standard.

The two phones share the type of screen and its features, as they include an LTPO AMOLED screen that supports an adaptive refresh rate from one Hz to 120 Hz, and has a brightness of up to 2600 nits per square meter – this is much more than the brightness of the iPhone 15 screen of 2000. lumens per square meter – ensuring an optimal user experience in outdoor conditions under direct sunlight.

But the difference lies in the screen size, resolution, and pixel density of the screen:

Galaxy S24 phone: It has a 6.2-inch screen, with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, and a density of 416 pixels per inch.
Galaxy S24 Plus phone: It has a 6.7-inch screen, with a resolution of 1440 x 3088 pixels, and a density of 509 pixels per inch.
The two phones work with a special version of the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor from Qualcomm in the United States and Canada, and in the rest of the global markets, the two phones will work with Samsung’s own Exynos 2400 processor.

3- Galaxy S24 Ultra phone:
